TL;DR: I made this thread because I had a problem with constantly spawning virals and looked to see if this was normal and noticed other people having the same problem. It's a random event where you have to disable a store's alarm.I was returning to the tower to drop off an airdrop and was suddenly being followed by a bunch of virals even though I hadn't made any noise.

I stopped to kill them and was immediately attacked by another group.I ran back to the tower with virals on my heels the entire way and dropped off the air drop and slept the night. As soon as I stepped back outside I was immediately attacked again. I thought maybe the game had glitched and quit and restarted.

Again as soon as I left the safe zone I was attacked.I noticed the sound of an alarm like a car alarm. By luck I spotted a bunch of biters trying to bash in the front of a general store while I was trying to run away from one chasing me up a building. The alarm was coming from the building. It was surrounded by biters and had a goon trying to smash in the back door and was constantly spawning new virals.I had to kill the biters and find a small breaker box on the back door to disable the alarm.It was really fucking annoying but I think it's really cool how these little things pop up occasionally in the game. It really makes the world not feel static like so many other games do.
