Although Dyson animal vacuum cleaners have very strong suction, on rare occasions, they do suffer from problems. These problems usually arise due to clogging or irregular maintenance. To troubleshoot the loss of suction, you must check the filters, brush bar, airways and cleaner head.
How To Clean Dyson Dc41 Hepa Filters
Hi there Liz, it's Jack at Dyson. It's normal for harmless static generated in use to cause fine dust particles to cling to the inside of the clear bin and cyclone, including the section visible behind the fine mesh shroud. Please be assured this will not affect performance in any way, as the airflow doesn't need to pass through these dust particles. The section behind the shroud is not designed to be accessed or cleaned, so please don't attempt to do this in case damage is caused. You can remove any loose dust particles from inside the cyclone pack by tapping it gently when you empty your machine after use.If you'd like further advice on using or caring for your Dyson vacuum, you can reach our experts directly by calling us on 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).Posted on May 02, 2014.
