Hello, fellow redditors.Since i installed the new 1709 Win10 version with the last versions of my hardware drivers, i notice that two of them are missing.One is the Nvidia Icon, but i actually know that in the lasts versions of their drivers, they removed it. But I have no clue about the realtek hd audio drivers. I have the last drivers installed, R2.82, but there isn't any icon on the taskbar nor aplication on the legacy control panel as the one from the Nvidia, that there is (not in the taskbar, as i said)I'm the only affected or are we legion??Thank you very much!!. There are new drivers as of January 18, 2018.You can go to Windows Catalogue to download them.Choose the right driver (Windows version and 32bit vs 64bit) and download it.If you right-click on it and there is no 'extract', just double-click on it and it will open, showing all the files.

Realtek driver tweaked in windows 7 - will the new win 10 driver. In Drivers and Hardware Hello: I have my realtek driver tweaked in windows 7, I have it set in the registry to have 2 outputs, instead of one - will the new win 10 driver be able to be adjusted.
Ctrl-A to select them all and then Ctrl-C to copy. Go back up a directory and create and new directory (i.e. Realtek Audio Driver 2018). Open it and Ctrl-V to paste files. It may take awhile.Go to the Device Manager and your sound card.Right-click and choose update drivers. Choose browse.

Windows should install the new driver.Reboot.Go to old control panel and choose ReadTek audio, should be at the bottom.Have fun.Edit:Once in the Realtek Audio Manager, click on the 'I' icon in top left. If you want it on your taskbar, check the 'show icon in notification area'.
