MorningFor today i brought ya 3 vids and some pics who show progress of the mod, not everything, film making take time and i dont have to much. But i pushed it a lot from 1.15 what means ACT1/2/3 got some hands on and i did a lot retuxtere there (mostly 'noise' reduction) and it came out pretty well so far. Catacombs are mostly reskined, one skin are completly new 'skull dungeon' and other polishing in retexture.Lights got a decent update and in some areas (the path regions like rotten path) got complete day/night cycles now. Some other changes too Ambient or fog color etc.So time goes by and modding with guts makes more and more fun. From that i decided to make this mod a little bit more then only a retexture. In this vid you see a concept of the first town. Whats new is a new merchant who sells trinkets/rings/spells etc from beginning. I enlarged the enclave a little bit for that;)Watch (plugin for the vid doesnt work).Note that in Version (1.2) there will be more XP and Gold gain be difficulty, not much but on elite you gain 40% more than on easy.
Wazup guysSo i started the work on version 1.2 on this mod and you will see here a little change in lightning effects.First i get really bored of that red light when you take the cursor over an enemy, over an boss i think it looks just stupid so i turned that off. Dont know yet if its good so or i take a diffrent color but red is dead.In the second part of the vid you see the second change on lightning.
First time i play this game i thought 'whats that purple light on my awsome twohanded sword?' Changed that in a 'metalic' effect and reduced the 'iceglow' of a weapon also.
Hello, everyone! Now that Torchlight 2 is available on GOG, I've uploaded my Bigger Stash mod to Nexus Mods.
This is a simple mod that increases the size of each stash to have 10 pages per category. It only affects the player stash and shared stash, and has no effect on player or pet inventories. There are minimal changes made to the UI, just two buttons added for changing pages and a small bit of text to show you which page you're on.When I made the mod (I think it's been over two years now) I did my best to test it properly, and have not had any instances of item loss from adding the mod to an existing character.
From what I remember, I also never received any reports of bugs or other issues after publishing the mod on Steam Workshop. However, as always, please make sure to BACK UP YOUR SAVE FOLDER before installing this mod, just to be safe.I hope you enjoy the mod! If you experience any problems with it, please let me know and I'll try to look into it.Link: /? Mothwentbad: Playing a previous save afterward WITHOUT this mod will cause your later pages to be deleted (page 1 was still ok for me).
Make sure you save/backup (or that you don't care about your items) before you play the same character without this mod OR with a new mod with a higher priority that you haven't before (only stash-affecting mods are likely to matter, but badly-designed mods with leftover garbage could conflict unexpectedly with anything else). Here's what happens with this:Bigger Stash increases the size of each category of the Player Stash and Shared Stash to hold 400 items instead of the normal 40. Without the mod, the size reverts to 40, and anything after the first 40 slots (the first page of each category) is lost as a result.
This only affects stashes that are loaded when playing without the mod. So, for example, playing the vanilla game (choosing to play without mods in the launcher, and thus using the 'save' folder instead of the 'modsave' one) shouldn't give you any problems. None of your modsave stashes are loaded, so they aren't affected by the mod not being there. If you play using the modsave folder, then that's where things can get lost. Playing with any character will cause their Player Stash and the Shared Stash to load, regardless of whether or not you actually open either stash. This means that, without the mod, loading even one character will lose you any items stored in the Shared Stash past the first page of each category. However, it will not affect the Player Stash of other characters.

For example, let's say after playing with Bigger Stash you decide to play without it while using the modsave folder. If you load Character A, then their Player Stash and the Shared Stash will potentially lose items. However, Character B's Player Stash will be safe as long as they aren't loaded without the mod.
Torchlight 2 Best 10 Mods
I hope that all makes sense. After a bit of experimenting I have figured out how to make it work. Not all of us were/are familiar with how modding works in Torchlight II. Torchlight modding is simple - you extract the mod folder which contains mod files into the 'mods' folder, and run the game. The mod gets applied automatically.Torchlight II has some additional steps in order to make the mods work.1.) I put the mod folder containing this mod file into the 'mods' folder, but I didn't know I had to click2.) When I figured that out, I went to play the game, but all of my characters were not there. Luckily, they did not disapper.
Turns out what I had to do was I had to move save files from3.) When I did that, I thought everything is going to be cool. Unfortunately the mod still didn't work. So I had to open 'run Torchlight II with mods' menu,It works fine.
